Mineiro Sanctuary

Mineiro is the name given to a dramatic 50-acre property in the western hills of Sonoma. Here we focussed on trails and gardens to offer the owners a variety of hiking options linking the existing woods, stream, pond, pasture and farmhouse with the new residence and orchards. Through the design of carefully constructed trails that control one's route through the landscape, we were able to celebrate the area's natural drama, juxtaposition, whimsy and beauty.
